Dixons Contractors Ltd is the first construction company in Ireland and third in the UK to be awarded the Business Continuity BS 25999 certification.
The accreditation recognises that Dixons has cemented an extremely
effective Business Continuity Plan designed to protect the company
whenever normal business activity is disrupted. Business continuity
planning is focused on managing the impact and recovery effort
following an incident that causes disruption to a business. It is the
reaction which can be considered, planned and rehearsed before an
incident occurs and which will keep damage to the business’ reputation,
productivity and profits to a minimum.
